ECSN visits the Office for Nuclear Regulation ☢️

Recently, ECSN members were shown around the new Incident Response Suite at ONR Bootle, and were given the opportunity to sit in on the monthly criticality and shielding group meeting.

Greg O’Connor gave a great introduction presentation about the ONR, and the rules and guidance followed by inspectors.

It was an informative and interesting visit, that helped demystify the regulator for our early-career members.
